This Aquatint Etching is printed onto Somerset Satin 300gsm paper with Ironbridge Fine Arts own Ink using Jenny’s Gunning Etching press in her lovely studio in Ironbridge.
Using her drawing skills Jenny works out in the landscape to capture the detail she needs to create her plates.
Jenny loves the old and the abandoned, but also the astounding and incredible. Jenny loves to find, record and then enjoy choosing the right printmaking technique to represent the drawings that she wants to make into print.
Taking her drawings back to her incredible print studio and Gallery in Ironbridge (that she designed) which is situated right next to the river Seven, she then has a wide range of printmaking mediums she can choose from.
