“All work is started on site and the journey itself to the individual locations can take many days and finding places can be difficult but worth it. Back in the studio, the individual drawings call to me at different times, I might go back to a work five years later, and then a further two years continuing until I get the image I want. I am a great believer that drawing is always the way forward and everything develops from it. My drawings are my finished pieces they are not studies made towards the development of paintings.”
