Printing Runners

For years we were selling our presses without printing runners however a few years ago we started to provide free printing runners with each press because it makes it easy for you the printmaker to change between printing from Intaglio to any thickness of relief plate. For years we used wood runners but now we are using plastic and they work like a dream. 

Because there is a large gap in between our rollers and you have great control of the pressure you will be able to print any thickness of plate. When Dave Gunning designed the presses over 40 years ago he wanted the presses to be multifunctional so that they print any thickness of plate and he wanted the machines to be excellent quality but affordable. Designed and made by printmakers.

Here are the runners that are available – one set comes free with your press but if you need to purchase more here is the list of thicknesses that we make and sell. Each set of runners comes with cross sections and bolts to secure them to your press bed.

If your purchasing these runners for a press that is not ours you will need to check that you can get runners in between your rollers before you buy from us because we will cut these to your sizes and they are not refundable.
