Yesterday was a momentous day, having traveled up to the UNESCO heart of The Industrial Revolution at Ironbridge a few days earlier, I collected my handsomely hand built Gunning Etching Press Number 2 and brought it all the way back to Cornwall.
I spent a wonderful few hours with the very talented Printmaker Jenny Gunning BA (Hons) daughter of the man who has been building these presses for 40 years, in her amazing printing studio (which I did not want to leave) with my Press seen here complete with its 48″ wheel ??
