Linda exhibits widely and in 2017 she had an etching accepted into the Victoria and Albert Museum’s collection and a drypoint print into the Printmakers and Council National Archive. She won the Wolverhampton Society of Artists’ Elsie Holland Award for Outstanding Artwork and was shortlisted for the Artists and Illustrators Artist of the Year Award 2018.
Having qualified with a BA Hons in Printmaking and an MA Hons in History of Art, Linda taught for many years in further education. In 2018 Linda was elected Associate Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists.
“My first experience of etching was in an inspirational class run by Dave gunning about 28 years ago! I also took drawing lessons with Dave accompanied by Jenny Gunning, around the same time. I eventually managed to purchase my own press and have been delighted to use a Gunning Press happily for many years.”
