Jenny Gunning has recently worked with the Children of Coalbrookdale CE School to produce Etchings and Prints exploring the Impact of the Industrial Revolution. The children were so enthusiastic, each creating a collagraph plate which was then inked up and printed on a Gunning Arts Printing Press. “Its great seeing future generations of Artists being inspired and producing artwork they are proud of. Children love working on the printing presses…turning the star wheel to wind their artwork through the press and then lifting the blanket to reveal their prints come to life is magical”.
Rob Leckey was among other Artists producing work with the children with the final works being on display at Coalbrookdale School The programme worked with Meadow Arts, The Ironbridge Gorge Museum and was funded by the Arts Council England.
