At Ironbridge Fine Arts we take our commitment to recycling and waste management very seriously and as such we have a Recycling Program. Our aim is to reduce the total waste we generate by promoting the recycling of materials and maintaining a clean, sustainable environment. Before anything gets put near a bin we asses if it can be reused or repurposed. One example of this would be mount board offcuts which are stored and donated to local schools, charities, and art groups. For items that can’t be repurposed internally or within the community, we use a company who has a Zero to Landfill promise. Cartwrights are located less than 4 miles away from our Gallery this also cuts down on unnecessary mileage and helps to lowers our carbon footprint.
We live in a beautiful world and all need to work together to help ensure our planet is looked after for future generations to come.
If you are a local school, art Group or charity and would like to discuss receiving off cut items such as mountboards or second hand frames then please contact us on 01952434033.
