Children’s Art Competition Sponsored by Larson Juhl
It has been a huge adjustment for everyone recently. Least of all for our children who have been absolutely incredible with adjusting to homeschooling and putting up with us parents! We thought it would be fun and a great distraction to run an art competition where budding.
Artists will win the choice of their artwork professionally framed or scanned and put onto Fine Art Canvas
TO ENTER create a piece of Artwork on A4 or A3 piece of paper post your image on Facebook tagging Ironbridge Fine Arts or Instagram using the #ironbridgefinearts alternatively email your entry to info@ironbridgefinearts.co.uk Please tell us which Age group you are applying for so we can ensure your put into the correct category.
You can use any medium that you have in the house; paints, pens, pencils, pastel or chalk to charcoal, textiles, oils, acrylics, watercolours or material- anything goes! There is no theme or topic so create a piece of Artwork about anything that takes your interest or inspires you whether this is a self-portrait, cartoon, landscape, spaceship or dinosaur – just have fun!
The age categories are:
Below 5 years old
Ages 5-11
Ages 12-16
Get your incredible Artwork to us before the 31st May when 3 winners will be chosen by prolific Artist Dave Gunning. The amazing winners will be announced the following week!
Dave Gunning won his first Art Competition at the age of 14 when his had three pieces accepted into the Royal Academy. He now has Artwork in the Royal Collection, The Palace of Westminster, The National Museum of Wales, Devizes Museum, Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Walsall New Gallery, Dudley Art Gallery, Bilston Art Gallery, Stafford Art Gallery, Salisbury Museum, Bristol Museum Art Gallery to name but a few!
