We make & glaze frames here in Ironbridge. This is just part of our range of bespoke mouldings.
Inspired by a German city, which once dazzled a pre-war Europe with its cultural and artistic splendor that gives the frame a real look of history. The finish is a mottled, waxy texture combined with subtle rich brown tones and matt silver detailing, the range has a soft, timeworn, look that suits almost any artwork or object.
Damira is available in both a gold and silver leaf finish and has subtle scratching that reveals the red bole beneath the gold and the black bole beneath the silver. The overall effect is soft but complex, so these mouldings will complement a wide variety of artwork including posters, photography and watercolours.
Mantilla’s has a total of four colour in the range; Gold, Silver, Black and Ivory. These antiqued neutral tones are accented with soft, textured highlights and aged charm, connecting a timeless craft to a modern world. The Mantilla collection includes two profiles and one mount slip ranging from 43mm wide with a slight inward scoop. This narrow profile, with its delicate scrollwork, would beautifully frame line drawings, etchings, antique jewellery and lace. The largest 85mm wide profile, featuring the same open-work pattern, adds a stronger, heartier component to the collection
